Halloween Season in Salem

Last weekend, my husband and I had the wonderful opportunity to adventure in Salem in the middle of the city's biggest yearly event: Halloween Season! We had an awesome time looking through the historic Salem Wax Museum, eating apple crisp, and walking through two haunted houses (in the first of which I refused to open my eyes or let go of his arm). I was so interested to learn more about the 1692 Witch Trials and how the city has been able to turn their horrible history into a much brighter present.

Julio and I riding the Commuter Rail from Boston to Salem.

Here we are in front of the cemetary waiting in line for the wax museum.

Just some silliness. :)

This was taken after "Within the Witching Hour," a live spellcasting.

Posing in front of the statues.
